About Me

Well nothing spectacular about me ...I am a simple house-wife; mother of two recently turned author to "Yes! I Matter" published by Partridge Penguin Random House. The book will always remain closest to my heart as it talks about a life pretty similar to mine:)  Futher also I aim to write articles more dealing with women-centric and social issues , the issues that touch the core of the heart.

I have written several articles for health magazines and editorials. Currently I am coediting a CSR magazine yet to be launched.

All in all its a simple life and writing for me:)

About Me

My published books include two children’s story collections ‘The Elephant’s Trunk and Other Stories’ and ‘The Elephant’s Revenge and Other Stories’, and a personal narrative named ‘A Journey to Self-Publishing’, a story which describes my struggles to get my books published. However, my most favorite work, that which I have written from my heart is the book ‘The Vanished and Vanquished’. It is a novel of doomed love, set in the mid-20th century Kerala (India) in the background of the matrilineal system that had survived there till the 1980s and which is still the way in which royal family titles are inherited. As of now, the book is only in Kindle edition and I am hoping to have a print edition by the next year.

I am a member of a writers group called 'Writers of Chantilly'. My contributions have appeared in two of their anthologies – ‘Nana... and Other Grandmothers’ and ‘Etched in Memory’. I am currently working on a children’s fantasy novel ‘Mystic and His Snake’. My author page is https://www.amazon.com/author/kalyanikurup

About Me

In the summer, I like to ride horseback. I completely dislike winter, so that is when I do most of my writing. Check out my website: http://www.multeitybooks.com to find out more. Besides a page on my husband & me, there is also a link to my CreateSpace page, my Amazon page, etc. AND, if you like horses, take a look at my black & white homozygous tobiano stallion (he is for sale) who also carries an extremely rare OLWS Negative splashed white overo gene. Go to the bottom of his page and you can view some of his offspring, including a colt he sired that was also carrying the rare OLWS Negative splashed white overo gene. He was a tob/overo. There is also a link from "Cruiser's" page that explains all about his genetics.

About Me

Tina Frisco is an author, singer-songwriter-performer, RN, shaman apprentice, and activist. Born in the USA in Pennsylvania, she attended nursing school in New York and lives in California. She began writing as a child and received her first guitar at age 14, which launched her passion for music and song-writing. She has performed publicly in many local venues. Her publishing history includes book reviews, essays, articles in the field of medicine, and her début novel - Plateau: Beyond the Trees, Beyond 2012 - published in July 2012. Included in her pursuits are writing, reading, music, crossword puzzles, and exploring nature.

W'Hyani, the protagonist in Plateau, is a 15-year-old tribal female who discovers her strengths and destiny by overcoming adversity while honoring the wisdom of her elders. Her will, fortitude, and ingenuity are tested relentlessly. She must learn to trust blindly and overcome fear exhaustively, without fully knowing why she was born the Keeper of the Crystal Heart, the requisite key to the Great Mosaic of Life. She ultimately comes face-to-face with herself in a battle that would shrink the will of the most intrepid warrior, unaware that realizing her destiny will irrevocably impact all beings on earth and beyond. The Great Mosaic of Life holds a message of hope that would allow us to see and live beyond the year 2012. W'Hyani's people inject humor and wisdom throughout this tale of adventure and mystery. Will love prevail over fear? This is a question that millions are asking across the globe. Plateau proffers a dash of insight and a bounty of hope with its underlying message: We must keep our hearts open and act from love instead of reacting from fear, and we must practice gratitude and compassion within every moment and with every breath. In so doing, we'll help elevate the human species to a higher consciousness, facilitating both personal and global peace.

Tina has just writen the first of a series of children's books, which will be published soon. Inspired by her niece having quadruplets - and another expecting triplets - the books will be both traditionally and ethically educational.

Tina's philosophy of life is "Harm none and walk in beauty..."
